Brody has been covered in smoke for a day after the Russian attack, residents are advised not to walk or ventilate

In Brody, Lviv region, the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air remains elevated after Russia's attack on January 27, and people with chronic illnesses are advised to stay outside less. About reported maksym Kozytskyi, head of the regional military administration.
As of the morning of January 28, the city in the Zolochiv district is still experiencing smoke after a drone attack on an infrastructure facility. The concentration of carbon monoxide in the air is moderate and does not pose a health risk.
Air quality is monitored by specialists from the Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
"For most people, there are no restrictions. People with chronic respiratory diseases are advised to temporarily limit long walks. Wear a mask when going out," Kozitsky said.
Local residents are also advised to refrain from ventilating their rooms and drink at least 30 milliliters of water per kilogram of body weight throughout the day.
- On the night of January 27, the Russian army attacked Zolochiv district in Lviv region. Due to the fire of oil products canceled training in schools in Brody, and in the village of Smilne, the level of carbon monoxide was recorded.
- Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Sergiy Koretsky confirmed that the enemy attacked one of the company's facilities in western Ukraine, a fire broke out.
