A child died as a result of the Russian shelling of Kharkiv on January 2. This was reported by city mayor Igor Terekhov, chief Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov and Civil service for emergency situations.

The body of the deceased three-year-old boy was found under the rubble of the destroyed house. According to preliminary information, the child's mother was with him.

Preliminary, there are still people under the rubble.

On the afternoon of Friday, January 2, Russians inflicted of the attack on Kharkiv. More than 30 people were injured, including a six-month-old baby. The rest of the victims ranged in age from 20 to 79 years.

The attack was carried out with two Iskander missiles. Residential buildings, shops, cafes, and a supermarket were damaged.
