On the night of January 28, Russia struck Ukrainian cities again, with consequences in Kyiv region, Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia. This was reported by local authorities.
The Air Force warned about the movement of "Shahed", including in Kyiv region.
The head of the regional military administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, later reported on the consequences of the attack: a multi-storey residential building was damaged in the Bilohorodska community. The roof and the top floor caught fire, and the residents were evacuated .

The head of Zaporizhzhya regional military administration Ivan Fedorov reported explosions at 04:37 and the threat of high-speed missile attacks. According to monitoring channels, the Russians shelled the city with multiple launch rocket systems.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on the consequences of a UAV attack in the capital: debris falling in Holosiivskyi district on the roof of a two-story non-residential building caused a fire, it was extinguished.
Also in Holosiivskyi district, as a result of the UAV debris falling on the roadway in an open area, the blast wave damaged the windows and roof of a 17-story building. There were no casualties.

- Also on January 27, Russia hit a train in Kharkiv region, Barvinkove-Lviv-Chop, with drones, hitting a carriage with passengers. Rescuers found the bodies of four dead and fragments of other bodies. The exact number of dead will be determined after the examinations.
