Vyshhorod has electricity again after 100 hours of darkness, and Obukhiv district has heat

The town of Vyshhorod in Kyiv region is back in the power grid – thousands of homes were without electricity for about 100 hours after another Russian shelling. Heat supply has been restored in Obukhiv district. This was reported by DTEK and the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk .

Power company restores power to more than 9000 families.

"The enemy heavily damaged the substation. The work lasted for four days without stopping, day and night. Now all families have electricity again," DTEK said .

Kalashnyk also reported on the return of heating to homes in the affected communities of Obukhiv district.

  • After the massive attack on the night of December 27 in Kyiv, about 500,000 families were left without electricity, and more than 40% of residential buildings in the capital and part of Obukhiv district of Kyiv region were left without heat.
