Operational information as of 12.00 03.03.2022 
The invaders continue using the civilians cynically as a human shield, taking hostages. They are using high-yield cluster and fragmentation munitions during bombing, which is against the norms of International Humanitarian Law. When inflicting artillery strikes on towns, the occupiers actively use multiple launch rocket systems "Grad", "Smerch" and "Uragan".
In the Volyn direction, the enemy, by means of 2 battalion tactical groups (BTG), switched to defensive actions and is trying to hold on to the line of Beihun, Ovruch, Pyrozhky, Raznaya, Ukrainka.
In Polissya, the invaders concentrated their main efforts on the Kyiv direction, they suffer losses in personnel and equipment, but do not abandon attempts to block Kyiv from the northern and northwestern directions. 
In the direction of Korosten, the enemy suffered significant losses and stopped. They are not taking offensive action.
In the Seversk region, the enemy by means of the 41st combined-arms army, the 90th tank division of the central military district of the RF Armed Forces in the Chernihiv-Kyiv direction with up to 5 BTGs, 2 Tank groups of missile forces and artillery are trying to hold their positions in the areas of the localities of Lyubech and Mena. At the same time, by the forces of 2 battalion tactical groups they are advancing in the direction of Kotsiubynske - Goncharivske (Kyiv). 
The occupying troops are forced to put reserves into action. To resume the offensive in the direction of Kyiv, an additional BTG was introduced. 7 BTGs, 3 Tactical groups of missile forces and artillery, Tactical group of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces of the 6th Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District of the RF Armed Forces, 2nd Combined Arms Army of the RF Armed Forces are continuing their attempts to resume offensive operations in the Nizhinsky and Prylutsk directions. 
Two BTGs from the 2nd Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District of the RF Armed Forces are moving forward in the direction of Pobeda – Brovary.
In Slobozhanshchyna region, enemy troops from the 1st Tank Army of the RF Armed Forces, the 6th and 20th Combined Arms Army were stopped on the boarder of the localities of Akhtyrka, Bogodukhov, Chuguev, Shevchenkove, after illegally crossing the state border of Ukraine. 
In the Sumy direction, up to two BTGs consisting of the 200th separate motorized infantry brigade (14th Army Corps of the Northern Fleet) and the 90th (up to two BTGs) continue keeping the towns of Sumy, Lebedyn and Okhtyrka under siege.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy by means of up to six BTGs, was pushed to go on the defensive. They will presumably make another attempt to encircle Kharkiv from the south by means of up to three BTGs. 
In the Svatovsky direction, they will probably attempt an offensive in the direction of Izyum and gain a foothold on any lines by means of up to two BTGs. The main reason for such actions is the continuation of the offensive in the directions of the Dnipro and Zaporizhzhya. 
In the Donetsk region, Mariupol remains strong, the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions are unattainable for the enemy. 
In the Tauride direction, the enemy carried out the introduction of part of the operational reserves into the BTGs, and is trying to continue the offensive in the direction of Zaporizhzhya, by means of part of the forces to Mariupol. 
Ship groups of the Black Sea, Northern and Baltic fleets are actively performing demonstration activities. 
In the Sumy region, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have advanced to the frontiers along the line of the State border of the Sumy region.

At night the enemy launched missile and air strikes on Ukrainian cities: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr. This tactic makes no sense - pure intimidation and an attempt to attack us psychologically. We must not break down. Each of us is a soldier and fights in his or her place.
I would like to thank the communities and the leadership of the Western regions of Ukraine who are making strong efforts to provide the Centre, the South and the East of Ukraine with resources, equipment, support, and manpower. We are thankful to the Western regions for helping the Centre, South, East, and North. The local population is fighting a guerrilla warfare, the cities of millions keep resistance. This all slows down the enemy. Each minute, the fight is ongoing. Any action that can delay the enemy's plans helps us. The situation in the world, due to the sanctions is such that every minute the provided help is increasing, and every minute the enemy loses resources, momentum. Eventually, this leads to the disruption of their plans they are building against Ukraine. Every minute leads us to the victory. We are no longer only defending but also counterattacking. The situation is getting better for us and worse for them.

Kherson-Mykolaiv direction: The enemy has been trying to advance but suffering a devastating defeat. They can neither advance further nor enjoy even a single tactical success. Not that operational — even tactical one.
Enerhodar and Zaporizhzhia are under our control, under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Cities are ready for defense. Nuclear power stations are out of danger. There are no reasons for anxiety.
Odesa-Mykolaiv direction: Odesa resists, Mykolaiv has repelled airborne forces and has defeated them until evening. The situation is controlled by our troops and the regional state administrations, city mayors and local authorities. People in Odesa were glad to hear about the Russian ships that would allegedly attack the city. The people are looking forward facing them.

Our troops are chasing Russians in the bushes outside Makariv. It’s a success of our Armed Forces. On the seventh day of the invasion, we launched a counteroffensive in a number of directions. We have liberated an important area. From a military point of view, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are performing wonders.
As for Chernihiv - Sumy direction. The Russians are trying to move towards Kyiv but many surprises await them.
In Kharkiv, the Russians are trying to surround the city from the West but they sustain catastrophic losses. Their pace is very weak, and soon their offensive will become “offensive.”
Joint Forces Operation (JFO) zone: our units are maintaining their positions. In particular, they strengthened their positions on the outskirts of Horlivka. The situation in Mariupol is under control.

The invaders occupied the building of Kherson Regional State Administration (RSA), however, the regional operational Headquarters continues working, - Hennadiy Lahuta, the head of Kherson RSA reported in Telegram.

  • They want to destroy our Odesa but they only will meet the bottom of the Black Sea. Because they are the bottom.
  • Even if you ruin all our cathedrals and churches, our faith, the true faith in Ukraine, - the God, and the people remain untouched.
  • We will restore every building, every street, and every city. We say to Russia: "Learn the word 'reparations'".
  • Our coordination Headquarters work at full capacity, real humanitarian aid is on its way; the government prepares a special-support program to help those who are unable to work because of the war.
