Early in the morning of February 24, 2022, Russia launched missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine and launched a direct full-scale invasion. Ukraine repulses the enemy. As of April 28, 2022, more than 22800 russian servicemen, thousands of units of military equipment (187 planes, 155 helicopters, 970 tanks, 2389 armored vehicles, 1688 machines, 582 artillery / rocket artillery systems, 8 ships and more) have been eliminated.
The US Department of the Treasury has banned transactions with the Central Bank and the Russian Treasury Department.
“This action effectively immobilizes any assets of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation held in the United States or by US persons, wherever located," said in the statement of the Department of the Treasury.

OVER A THOUSAND CIVIL UKRAINIANS IN BERDYANSK FORCE RUSSIAN NAZISES TO LOAD INTO THEIR TRUCKS
Ukrainians, if Russian Nazis appeared in your city, go out and drive them out. Do not be afraid. Chase them.
Switzerland has imposed sanctions against Russia in defiance of its neutrality. It will join all sanctions imposed by the European Union.
Ukraine appeals to the European Court of Human Rights over Russian attacks on civilian targets.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba addressed the Russian occupiers: No result, except thousands of coffins and impoverishment, awaits you.
"The shock of the world community has been replaced by anger and action. You may have already noticed their results on the scoreboards in the exchange offices in your cities. "The external conditions for the Russian economy have changed dramatically." That's a quote. That's what the Central Bank of Russia said today. Of course they have changed, just to put it very mildly," Kuleba said.
The Minister noted that the ruble has actually "fallen into the abyss," along with the entire Russian economy. According to him, "the bottom has not been reached yet, but the flight has already started".
"Ukraine is not going to give up. Today there are queues at military enlistment offices all over our country and queues at offices of the military commissar all over your country," Kuleba said.
The occupants shelled villages near Chernihiv, the State Emergencies Service reports. Kiyenka and Pavlovka villages suffered the most. There were fatalities.

Press Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on bombardments in Kharkiv, death of civilians and what Putin is trying to achieve:
The Ministry of Internal Affairs Press Centre continues its work.
Unfortunately, we must state that Russian army is massively shelling residential areas in the city of Kharkiv. Now, as we speak there’s an ongoing tremendous shelling of Kharkiv by missile weapons, there’re already numerous victims, there’re killed. These are solely civilians and this is purely shelling of a peaceful city.
Why is this all happening? The reason is that Ukrainian army has started fighting the enemy and the sanctions imposed started bringing down the Russian economy.
Vladimir Putin seems to be aiming at gaining any kind of victory, in order to provide a picture of a pseudo victory in Ukraine for Russian citizens.
It’s the fifth day that Russian president has been hiding in a bunker, it’s the fifth day that he hasn’t appeared in front of his people, it’s the fifth day he is afraid to be in public. Why? Because he has obviously started having paranoiac fear for his own life.
Of course, we cannot expect any revolutions in Russia at present, but Putin is paranoiac and he is obviously very much afraid of his elites, that’s the reason he’s been hiding in a bunker for the fifth day, that’s the reason he doesn’t appear in public and that’s the reason he’s been waging war against Ukraine for the fifth day now.
His actions in Kharkiv today, his murdering of civilians, the fact that all the rules of war are being broken at the moment – all of these will be proves for future court hearings and he will definitely face the Hague court. And we, in our turn will defend the city of Kharkiv because it’s our Ukrainian Patriotic war and we will win our Patriotic war!

Horenka, Kyiv Region, was shelled.
A shell hit the village of Horenka near Kyiv. The Russian army still hopes to capture the sector in the direction of Demydiv, Bucha, Irpin, and Vyshhorod. Horenka and Pushcha-Vodytsia are in Russians’ sights, too. The Armed Forces of Ukraine drove Russians out of Bucha, destroyed a part of their forces in Hostomel, and pushed back the Russian Federation’s military in the Vyshhorod direction. The shelling of villages and residential quarters is a sign of Russians’ powerlessness and their attempt to amp up the stakes during negotiations. They are hinting that we need to accept their terms to stop violence in Ukraine.
We are confident that Zelenskyi’s team is very well aware that Russians use negotiations to buy themselves some time, have a breather, and prepare for an offensive. The Russian army has been beaten down by Ukrainian Armed Forces’ success. We need not a pause now, but a counteroffensive.

Switzerland is joining the EU’s sanctions against Russia that attacked Ukraine and launched an all-out war in the center of Europe.

“I am ashamed—as a person and as a citizen.” The head of the Russian UN climate delegation spoke against Putin and his war with Ukraine.
“”I am ashamed—as a person, as a citizen of this country. I am ashamed that we failed to establish any civil society institutions in our country that could impact the president’s and government’s decision-making. It was simply presented to us—just as to the citizens of Ukraine—as a fait accompli. The fact that we, citizens of Russia, are involved in a military conflict,” Oleg Anisimov, professor, doctor of science in geography, said during the online UN climate conference, representing Russia.

At the same time, a dozen of cars left Volnovakha in the morning on their own, moving toward Uhledar. The residents of Volnovakha get calls from the local officials telling them the name of a locality where the authorities are waiting for them. Another attempt to evacuate civilians will be made as soon as the shelling stops.

Has been negotiating with the occupants. The military detained Oleksandr Briukhanov, mayor of Yuzhne (Kharkiv region), on suspicion of high treason. It was reported by Oleh Syniehubov, head of Kharkiv military administration. Briukhanov’s deputy, head of the local district police department, and district police officer (their names not reported) were also detained.
“It is a reminder for those who haven’t yet realised that we’re at war and who take a liberty of negotiating with the enemy,” Syniehubov said.
The soldiers from Zmiinyi Island are alive, captured by Russian forces, the Ukrainian Navy reports.
On Feb 26, a civilian rescue ship Sapfir was sent on a humanitarian mission to Zmiinyi Island after it was reported that there might be dead and injured Ukrainian military servicemen on the island. But the crew was captured by the Russians.
“Regarding the marines and border guards captured by the Russian occupants on Zmiinyi Island. We’re happy to find out that our fellows are alive and well,” the press service of the Ukrainian Navy reports. They say that marines have repelled the attacks of the Russian occupants twice, but, lacking ammunition, they could not defend the island any further.
In their turn, the occupants “forgot” to mention that they had completely destroyed the island’s infrastructure: the lighthouse, the towers, and the antennas. As a result, communication with Zmiinyi Island was interrupted. It was impossible to send the backup due to the continuous shelling by the Russian military ships and airplanes.
In a battle near Kherson, Ukrainian fighters disabled and captured a cutting-edge Russian Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery system valued at $20 million apiece for exports, journalist Yurii Butusov wrote on Facebook. “Mom, I’m no longer in Crimea. No drills.”
