The presidents of the eight European Union member states have stated that Ukraine deserves an immediate prospect of the EU membership. They are Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Russia hit several Kyiv suburbs: a dormitory and two houses were destroyed. The missile attack struck Vasylkiv, Bila Tserkva, and Kalynivka at around 19:00. A three-storey dormitory and two five-storey houses were destroyed. There is a man under the rubble and two more people have been rescued.
The situation in Luhansk Region remains very tense. In the afternoon, the Russians shelled Severodonetsk: one dead, two wounded, seven residential buildings damaged and a gas pipeline broken. The Russian occupants also shelled almost all the settlements in Hirske Amalgamated Territorial Community. Entire villages were blown up. All communications are missing. Ukrainian rescuers extinguished the fire.
Finland has decided to send Ukraine weapons: 2,500 assault rifles, 150,000 rounds of ammunition, 1,500 anti-tank weapons and 70,000 food parcels, Reuters reports.
