"A gift for Putin". Czech Republic raises money for Ukrainian Flamingo missile for the Armed Forces

The Czech volunteer initiative Darek pro Putina ("A Gift for Putin") has launched a fundraiser for the Ukrainian Flamingo cruise missile. This is stated on the initiative's website.
Volunteers asked the missile manufacturer, Fire Point, to raise funds for one of the missiles and name it "Dana 1" in honor of the deceased Czech nuclear scientist, head of the Czech State Nuclear Safety Authority, Dana Drabova.
"After payment, the missile will be handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They will decide when to use it and determine its target. Perhaps we will soon find out where it flew to," the volunteers wrote .

- on August 17, images of a new Ukrainian cruise missile called the FP-5 Flamingo appeared. Since then, Kyiv-based defense manufacturer Fire Point has promised a significant increase in production by the end of the year.
- On September 18, it was reported that the developer of the Flamingo missile is working on a new air defense system.
- The Economist claims that Flamingo missiles can deceive Russian air defense by constantly changing flight vectors to the target.
