GUR: Yakutia and other Russian Far Eastern regions fail to fulfill recruitment plan

In Russia's Yakutia and other poorest regions of the Russian Federation, there are difficulties with recruiting contract soldiers to the Kremlin's armed forces. This was reported by Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
According to internal documents of the Russian Ministry of Defense, low selection rates are due to insufficient regional payments and the unwillingness of local authorities to promote the recruitment campaign.
"The average shortfall in the region's selection points is about 40% of the norms set by Moscow," Ukrainian intelligence says.
The reluctance to fight on the side of the Russian Federation is also explained by significant losses among the local population, in particular representatives of certain ethnic groups – Yakuts, Evenks and Eveni.
Similar dynamics are observed in other Far Eastern regions of Russia.
- on August 27, Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russia is recruiting women from Africa, Asia, and Latin America to produce drones.
- Russia may conduct mobilization again, and this poses a serious threat. This was stated by Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
