The Embassy of Ukraine in the United States has provided the U.S. State Department with detailed information about all the shelling that has taken place from the Russian side since Moscow agreed to the so-called energy truce. This was reported by Ambassador Olha Stefanishyna on the air of the telethon.

According to her, Ukraine provided the United States with "very detailed" information on the results of massive shelling on the night of February 3.

"I am sure that this will have its impact on the negotiations as well, because these are facts, concrete evidence and concrete information that strongly undermine any position of Russia. I hope that there will be less illusions and more pressure on the American side," Stefanishyna said .

The Embassy prepared this data in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

  • on January 29, Trump said that he had asked Putin to stop shelling Ukraine's energy sector for a week due to the cold snap – and he agreed. Peskov confirmed that the Russian dictator allegedly agreed to an energy truce – until February 1.
  • On the night of February 3, Russia launched a new massive attack, launching drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles at Ukraine. Under attack were thermal power plants and CHP plants, which worked exclusively for heating.
  • Zelenskiy believes that the Russians have violated the energy truce – "or they have four days in the week that are not full". He also said that amid this shelling, the work of the Ukrainian negotiating team would be adjusted accordingly. At the same time, Trump believes that Putin "kept his word" and that the "truce" was allegedly in effect from January 25 to February 1.
