Hundreds of high-rise buildings in the capital remain without heating after a massive Russian attack on January 24. About reported mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko.

He said that as of the morning of Sunday, January 25, 1676 high-rise buildings remained without heating.

Klitschko reminded that as a result of damage to critical infrastructure on January 24, almost 6,000 homes in the capital were left without heating again. Most of them have already been connected or have tried to be connected to the heating system twice after the shelling on January 9 and 20.

According to him, since last night, utilities and power engineers have restored heat supply to more than 1,600 buildings. Specialists continue to work to restore services to all Kyiv residents.

  • On the night of January 24, Russia released in Ukraine almost 400 air targets, including 21 missiles. The occupiers again targeted the energy sector.
  • Klitschko said that after the shelling, the most difficult situation was in Troyeschina where about 600 houses were left without all services.
  • Shmygal reported that as of Saturday evening, more than 800,000 customers in Kyiv were without power.
