On the morning of October 22, Russia hit a private kindergarten in the Kholodnohirsky district of Kharkiv with drones. According to the mayor of the city Igor Terekhov, there are wounded children and a fire broke out.
From 10:55 to 10:57, three explosions occurred in the city. A fire broke out at the site of the hit. There were more enemy drones in the sky above the city, preliminary, "shahids".
As of 11:18 a.m., all children were evacuated from the affected kindergarten. Four people were reported injured, one of whom is unconscious in intensive care. The fire continues.
The head of the regional military administration Oleh Syniehubov said that two more victims are known – a man and a woman, they are hospitalized. The woman is in serious condition with burns.
UPDATED at 11:45. Sinegubov reported that a 40-year-old man died. A total of five people were injured.
As of 12:10, information about injured children had not been confirmed, Terekhov reported. Seven injured people are known. As President Volodymyr Zelensky noted, many children have an acute reaction to stress.
