UAF: Ukraine scales up production of long-range drones. 95% of systems are domestic

Ukrainian companies are actively increasing production of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles. As told in an interview with NV said commander of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces, nicknamed Charlie, expects a tangible result of scaling next year.
"I won't name specific names or brands of the products used by our unit. I'll just tell you frankly that 95% of all long-haul vehicles are Ukrainian-made," he said.
According to the military, there was a period when the unit received drones from partner countries. It was a kind of testing of the systems they had developed, but the reaction of the allies to the comments and shortcomings of the UAVs was sometimes "not as we would like."
Over time, Ukrainian manufacturers have drawn attention to the importance of long-range unmanned systems, and now we have managed to reach a level where the 1st SBS Central Command has no problems with supply at all.
"I would like to have more equipment. But the tasks and challenges that our unit faces today are covered by the number of drones we have," Charlie emphasized.
- The drone commander also explained why the SBS was stopped strikes on production facilities "Shahed" in the Russian Federation.
- on December 26, it was reported that more than 200 companies in Ukraine develop drones with elements of machine vision.
