Umerov: Long-range operations of the Defense Forces will increase
A decision has already been made to increase the number of operations several times

Long-range operations against Russia will continue. In 2024, Ukraine has developed a plan for systemic such strikes, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, reports LIGA.net.
Last year, Ukraine also contracted several tens of thousands of long-range drones (deepstrike). This has allowed for regular precision strikes on critical targets deep in the enemy's territory
"All deliveries of drones are on schedule, and operations are carried out daily in accordance with the approved plans," Umerov said .
A few weeks ago, a decision was made to increase the number of operations several times. In this regard, the contracting of new tens of thousands of long-range drones is being prepared to increase the intensity and scale of strikes, the minister said .
- on June 23, the head of the SBU told details of the "Spider Web" operation to hit Russian military airfields in the rear. According to him, he even had to bribe Russian customs officers.
- On June 12, in the Kursk region, the Defense Forces detonated mines laid by the Russians, in the open air. The depth of the attack could not be specified, but it was "quite a distance" from the front line.
- On June 15, the General Staff reported that Ukraine had hit a drone manufacturing plant in the city of Elabuga, Tatarstan. It is more than 1000 km from Ukraine.
