The U.S. Congress is not aware of what security guarantees the U.S. administration is offering Donald Trump is ready to provide to Ukraine. About this, for text by LIGA.net, the source in the US parliament said and it was confirmed by the head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on European Integration, MP from the European solidarity Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze.

"The US simply does not understand what exactly is one hundred percent ready. They have no idea what the document the Ukrainian president [Volodymyr Zelenskyy] is talking about," said a Capitol Hill source.

Klympush-Tsintsadze also confirmed this to LIGA.net, noting that during her trip to Washington, D.C., she spoke with senators, and in the upper house of the U.S. parliament, "they know nothing about the document, no one has seen it and no one is discussing it even in general terms."

At the same time, the press services of five senators and members of the House of Representatives did not comment directly on this issue. In the White House, LIGA.net was only reminded that Trump "has repeatedly emphasized his desire to end the war," adding that negotiations are currently ongoing.

Earlier, during a press conference in Vilnius on January 25, president Zelenskyy said that the document on bilateral security guarantees between Ukraine and the United States was "100% ready."

Kyiv expects its partners' readiness, to have a date and place for its signing, the head of state noted.

"This is not chaos, but a policy of controlled uncertainty. When there is no clear answer, silence is equal to flexibility. This silence is a message. The American bureaucracy does not like a vacuum for no reason. If the documents exist only in the Office of the President and the White House, it means that we are not talking about guarantees, but about political trade," the LIGA.net's text suggests.
