Uman missile attack: number of victims rising, 19 casualties confirmed

The death toll as a result of a Russian missile attack on Uman, Cherkasy Oblast has reached 19 people as of 4:37 p.m, reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"The National Police reported 19 casualties. 18 people have been wounded, nine were hospitalized," the report reads.

The State Emergency Service has published a video of the demolition of the rubble of a multi-story residential building destroyed by a Russian missile.

As of 1:35 p.m. the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported 15 casualties.

At 2:27 p.m. the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that as of 2:00 p.m., the number of victims of a terrorist act in the Russian Federation had increased to 16 people .

Cherkasy regional governor reported that three children were among the dead.

At 2:49 p.m. Governor Taburets said: "Rescuers retrieved two more dead from under the rubble: so far we have 17 Uman civilians killed by the Russians."

At 4:37 p.m. The National Police reported 19 dead. 18 were wounded, nine of them are in the hospital.

During the night air raid alert, the Russians hit a nine-story residential building in Uman with a cruise missile. There are dead and wounded. Debris clearance continues, the number of victims is increasing.

11 cruise missiles were launched at Kyiv, all of which were shot down by anti-aircraft defense.

In the town of Ukrainka, Kyiv Oblast, a high-rise building was damaged , two people were injured.

Air defense forces destroyed 21 out of 23 missiles launched by Russia.
