Zelensky: Russia is preparing new operations against Europe, as long as Putin kills, he lives

Russia is planning new military operations in NATO countries, and Ukrainian intelligence confirms this. Russia's dictator Vladimir Putin believes that the longer he kills, the longer he lives, said during a speech at the plenary session of the Defense Industries Forum in the Netherlands, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"We have to stop Putin now in Ukraine, but we have to understand that his goal is beyond Ukraine as well. European countries should increase defense spending. We believe that 5% of GDP is the right level," he said .

Zelenskyy also noted that there are no signs that the Russian dictator wants to stop the full-scale war against Ukraine. Russia rejects peace proposals, including those from the US.

President says Putin links his own political survival to ability to continue killing.

"The longer he kills, the longer he will live," Zelensky emphasized.

• On June 22, the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, warned about Russia's preparations for new operations against Europe. The President noted that Ukraine would inform its partners about the facts it had received in this regard.
