A man died after the detention of the TCC in Lviv region. The military say – from alcohol

In the town of Yavoriv, Lviv region, a man died after being detained by the military at the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, , his wife told. The Lviv regional TCC and JV claim that the cause of death was alcohol poisoning.
Tetyana Volovetska reported that on February 2, representatives of the TCC detained her husband, Ivan Volovetsky, born in 1977, and "during the day, while under the control of TCC representatives, he died.".
She stated that she demanded explanations from the TCC, an investigation by the SBI and a transparent forensic examination to establish the real cause of death.
The TCC, "in order to avoid speculation," presented their version of the incident. The military claim that on February 2 at 09:30 Volovetsky was stopped to check his military records.
"The man was in a drunken state. It was found that citizen Volovetsky was wanted as a person who violated the rules of military registration. He had no documents on him. Accordingly, at 10:00 a police officer took him to the premises of the Yavoriv RCCC and JV. The citizen was taken to the rest room for further clarification of military registration data," the statement reads.
According to the TCC, at 13:42, the conscripts who were in the recreation room reported to the duty officer that Volovetsky "felt sick".
"Upon arrival at the scene, the officer on duty saw that Mr. Volovetsky was without signs of life. At 13:43, an ambulance was called. After examination by doctors, death was recorded at 13:48 without signs of physical violence," the report says.
The citizen's body was taken to Novoyavoriv hospital for an autopsy – according to the medical report, the cause of death was alcohol poisoning, the TCC added.
