In Lviv, a quarrel between parents of schoolchildren escalated into a shooting

on November 24, a shooting took place in the yard of secondary school No. 13 in the Sykhiv district of Lviv between parents of primary school students. One of the participants in the incident was injured, reported lviv regional police and director of the Department of Education and Culture of the Lviv City Council, Andriy Zakalyuk.

Initially, the parents tried to resolve the conflict in the principal's office with the head of the school and a social worker, but they did not reach an agreement.

They continued the conversation one-on-one in the school yard. One of the men pulled out a pneumatic gun and made, according to preliminary data, four shots. Another participant in the conflict was wounded in the stomach and leg. An ambulance and police were immediately called to the scene.

Police investigators opened a criminal investigation into hooliganism with firearms.
