Love saves lives. Security Service of Ukraine shared a video in which a Russian invader from the Northern Osetia calls his girlfriend from Berdichev, Ukraine, and says that he surrendered as she requested.


"I did what you said: I surrendered to the Ukrainian army. I want to stop this war and be with you", says the invader.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation today. The conversation was about one hour long, and the issue of Ukraine was discussed. Turkey is expected to make a statement regarding a mini-summit (Haberler).

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated that the number of applications to join the foreign legion has already reached 20,000.

Yesterday, on March 5th, the invaders made an attempt to move forward from Kharkiv towards Dnipro. The enemy has been destroyed by airborne forces of the Army of Ukraine, according to Oleksii Arestovysh, the advisor to the Head of the President Administration of Ukraine. In today's address, Zelenskyy stated that the invaders are about to bomb Odesa.

"Odesa! Russians have always come to Odessa. Always felt only warmth in Odessa. Only sincerity. And now what? The bombs against Odesa? The artillery against Odesa? Missiles against Odesa? It will be a war crime. It will be a historical crime," the president said.

Ministry of Defense of Ukraine: Total losses of invaders account for more than 11 000 in personnel, up to 285 tanks, up to 985 armored fighting vehicles, 109 artillery systems, 50 MLRSs, 21 air defense units, 44 aircraft, 48 helicopters, 4 UAVs, 2 ships, 447 vehicles.

The Russian military, who were taken prisoners by our defenders, started giving evidence. Hundreds of prisoners. Among them are the pilots of the aircraft, who bombed our places, our civilians. We heard their testimony. We saw documents, maps, plans which were not recent ones. This is not improvisation. This is a war. They prepared this invasion in this way, cruelly, cynically, with deliberate violation of the rules of war. That's why Kharkiv, that's why Chernihiv, that's why Sumy, that's why Mariupol and many other Ukrainian hero cities faced pure evil, atrocities. So it was planned in advance. But it will not kill our humanity, it will not kill us. Nevertheless, we treat prisoners under the Geneva Convention. Nevertheless, our missiles do not fall in response to civilian targets in Russia or Belarus, from where missiles are being launched to our territory every day, from where columns of equipment are being sent, from where aircraft fly against civilians, against civilian cities - Zhytomyr, Korosten, Ovruch, suburbs of Kyiv, cities in the South. They are preparing to bomb Odessa. Russians always used to come to Odessa, always felt only warmth, only sincerity from its citizens. And what now? Bombs against Odessa, artillery against Odessa, missiles against Odessa - it will be a war crime, it will be a historical crime. Ukrainians, we have been fighting for freedom for 11 days, we have stood up for our state, we already have an idea how we are going to rebuild our country, we are already forming special funds for Ukraine's reconstruction, here’re 4 of them: the Fund for reconstruction of destroyed property and infrastructure of Ukraine: the Fund for transformation of our economy, the Public debt service and repayment fund, the Small and medium business fund, and many other programs to support our people - the heroes who are fighting for our state.


And this is just the beginning. We still need strength, we need wisdom, we need will, we need victory, we need peace to save Ukraine.

Correspondent of Radio Svoboda published a video of shelling by invaders in Irpin.

Evacuation buses have arrived in Mariupol. According to the press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, today from 10:00 to 21:00 a silence regime must be observed in the town for evacuation of people. The humanitarian corridor was laid along the following route: Mariupol - Portovske - Mangush (bypassing Nikolsky) - Respublika - Rozivka - Bilmak - Pology - Orikhiv - Zaporizhzhya.

Evacuation will be carried out by municipal buses from three points: SK "Ilyichevets" (53 Nakhimov ave.), Drama Theater (1 Teatralna square, 1), Kalmiusska district administration ( 193 Metallurgiv Ave.).

The Head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Gaidai, ordered a ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages in the region.

Today, 28 crew members of the ship Banglar Samriddhi (flag of Bangladesh) were evacuated from the port of Olvia (Mykolayiv).

On March 3, this ship was hit by a Russian missile, as a result of which one crew member was killed, two were injured. Currently, all evacuated foreigners have crossed the state border of Ukraine at the Palanka checkpoint and are heading to their country of origin.

Oleksii Danylov, Head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reports:

Russian terrorist troops have not achieved strategic success in any direction. The Ukrainian army gives a worthy rebuff, and the day of our victory over the Russian chimera is approaching by the day. But the enemy is preparing a second wave of a large-scale offensive, which we must withstand as prepared and united as possible.

Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv and Odessa remain strategically important.

The main attention of the command of the Russian occupation troops is transferred to the South, trying to deprive Ukraine of access to the Black and Azov Seas.

On the part of Ukraine, there is a regrouping, replenishment with fresh reserves and saturation of the Ukrainian army with the latest weapons. Yesterday's helicopter crash is the proof.

In an interview to CNN, actor Sean Penn gave an insight on how he first met President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the Ministry of Foreign affairs, only for the period from February 24 to March 4, Ukraine received the following aid:
- 1133 tons of humanitarian cargo from hubs located in the neighboring countries.
- 66384 units of protection, weapons and other goods for the military (excluding ammunition).
- 338 million euros, 74.5 million dollars, 4 million pounds were transferred to the accounts of the NBU, other banks, and also collected through special accounts together with the diaspora.

Ukrainian security forces defeated a battalion tactical group of invaders near Mykolaiv, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) reports. Most of its personnel are former Ukrainian military, who in 2014 betrayed Ukraine and went over to the Russian army in the Crimea. The SSU got hold of a callsign table, mobile phone numbers, flash drives, SIM cards and personal documents of the Russian invaders.

10 days 4 hours and 20 minutes - 244. Ukraine fights for the world

We continue to fight back against the enemy. The Russian invaders could not destroy us, they could not break us. And they will not be able to! The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Territorial Defence, every volunteer, every citizen of Ukraine continue to defend our country, our life.
We have put the country's economy on a war track.

Plants and factories continue to work, fulfill military orders, repair equipment, turn military trophies into weapons. To fight, the country has to work, everyone in his place. If you have been forced to evacuate, find work in a new place - your help is needed everywhere.

The situation in positions is under control. Yes, we have losses too. But every name every one of our Heroes will not be forgotten. Nor will every murderer be forgotten. We understand the value of life and the value of freedom. The life of every Ukrainian is priceless!

In certain directions our warriors switch to counterattacks, the enemy loses dozens of vehicles, simply throws them away and runs away. Thus they replenish our "park" of military vehicles. The enemy will be killed by their own weapons.

The Kremlin does not yet want to accept and acknowledge its fiasco. But that time is near.

Discontent and demoralisation amongst the occupying troops is increasing. A revelation is coming to them, as well as to some Russian oligarchs.

There are more and more cases of reluctance to fight.

The enemy continues to suffer substantial losses. Nearly 90 planes and helicopters have been destroyed. They are being shot down by air defence, marines, our cyborgs all over the country. Several enemy pilots have been taken prisoner - they are important witnesses at the upcoming court martial. While someone is afraid to close the skies in Ukraine - our army is doing its job and destroying the enemy.

The most combat efficient units of the enemy got their teeth in: in Kyiv and Kharkiv the enemy was stopped. In Mykolaiv it has been repulsed. Odesa is our strategic reserve. Replenishment of enemy forces will become increasingly difficult, the quality of the replenishment will be even worse.

The Kremlin has entirely given up all its attempts to hide their intentions - they came to destroy our country, to destroy our people. They won't succeed.

They are waging a war against women and children. They did not manage to defeat the warriors defending Kharkiv, so they began attacking the Kharkiv University. Russians are nothing but terrorists. And all the terrorists will be eliminated.

The enemy is resisting, but we are doing everything possible to provide humanitarian corridors, get our people out of the shelling, and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid. We will not leave anyone and will be back very soon.

Today, Ukraine continues to stand up for the freedom of the whole world: Ukrainian children and women are saving your children and women at the cost of their lives, while you’re considering closing the sky.
Our men are saving your ones at the cost of their lives, while you're afraid to close the sky. We have long stopped to be afraid of the artificially created image of "great Russia". And the whole world should follow our example!

The enemy continues shelling all neighbourhoods of Bucha: the community has been without light, heat, communications and internet for several days.

"Every day we receive almost thousands of messages from residents of Bucha and the community's settlements about the need for food, water, restoration of communications," the statement said.

Residents are asking for help for those who are ill and have not been able to find their relatives for several days.

A significant number of residents are in basements.

The enemy continues shelling houses, cars, killing civilians and even children, and looting shops.

Humanitarian supplies cannot be delivered: the community is under siege by the enemy.

"We need support to stand and survive! Help save the community's residents," urges the Bucha City Council.

Despite significant losses, the enemy is throwing hundreds of supporters of the Pax Russica into battle. In particular, in the Luhansk region, the entire front line is littered with corpses and equipment of the invaders, according to the Ministry of Defense. 

Yesterday, more than 650 wounded members of the Russian occupation forces were taken to the central city hospital in the village of Bryanka, Luhansk region. Most of them are from the Popasna direction, according to the Defense Ministry.

All of them are mostly in serious condition: multiple shrapnel wounds, torn limbs or legs, etc.

Due to the lack of places in the hospital, the invaders who received minor injuries (contusions, minor injuries) are not even admitted to a medical facility. After receiving first aid, they were escorted by an armed convoy from the regular forces of the Russian Armed Forces to the line of combat for further combat operations as “cannon fodder.”

It is known that the personnel of the 6th separate motorized rifle regiment is frightened and demoralized, looking for ways to desert.

Current situation in different regions of Ukraine as of March, 6 08:00 am

Kirovohrad region. It was silent at night.

Volyn region. It was calm there.

It was quite calm in Kherson. Mobile connection was cut off.

Zhytomyr region. There were two overnight air raids. In Korosten, an air strike destroyed 10 private dwellings (one person died, five were injured (including one child); five children were rescued from the basement of a garage engulfed in flames. The local railway was hit - a diesel locomotive, two electric trains and two passenger cars were damaged. 15 private dwellings in Ovruch were destroyed, no fatalities or injuries so far.

Zaporizhzhya region. The night passed relatively quietly. The population of Zaporizhzhya and other settlements of the region continues to prepare to meet the enemy by building fortifications.
Rivne region. It was calm there.

Vinnytsia region. It was calm there. overnight.

Khmelnitsky region. The airfield in Starokonstantinov was hit (two wounded) Cherkasy region. It was calm there.

Lviv region. The night passed quietly Chernihiv region. - There were constant air-raid alarms in Chernihiv at night. Fighting in the city vicinity. Fighting in the direction of Kyiv.

There was calm in Poltava region . Air-raid alarms in Lubna, Mirgorod, and Poltava in the morning.

Chernivtsi region. Calm

Ivano-Frankivsk region - calm.

Luhansk region. The night was more or less calm. Yesterday afternoon there was heavy shelling: there was a humanitarian disaster in the settlements close to Severodonetsk, now cut off from the city. In Novopskov, gunfire dispersed a protest rally. The regional children's hospital was shelled again. On the positive side: the first humanitarian aid arrived from the Chernivtsi region. The UN Refugee Agency begins work to procure humanitarian aid for Novopskov.

Donetsk region. Mariupol is under siege. Volnovakha too, but about 400 people were able to be evacuated from Volnovakha and the district yesterday. Evacuation attempts will continue today. Over Kramatorsk our air defence shot down a cruise missile last night.
Ternopil region. There was calm overnight.

Odesa region. The night passed quietly. Mykolayiv region. There were “Smerch” shelling in the evening. All three shells hit the yard of private houses. The village of Radisniy Sad in Mykolaiv district was shelled. Rockets were also fired at other villages in Mykolaiv district of Mykolaiv region. In general, the situation is under control.

There was one air-raid alarm in Dnipro during the night.

Kharkiv region. Night in the regional centre passed with explosions again: areas of Alekseevka, Novy Dom, KhTZ (tractor plant), Saltivka, 23 August and in central Kharkiv. Across the region, the AFU has launched a counter-offensive on several fronts.

Kyiv region. Fighting in Irpin, Hostomel, Makarov. Movement of the enemy through Bucha, Nemishaevskaya community. Zhytomyr highway area remains the hottest point.

Zakarpattya region. The night was quiet

Today overnight and in the morning Kharkiv residents suffered bombarding carried out by Russian aircrafts. Central districts of Kharkiv, residential areas and infrastructure objects have been hit, the National Police said.

The headquarters of the Kremlin-controlled private military company Wagner has been deployed in Rostov-on-Don, according to the AFU General Staff.

As a result of a missile attack on the private sector in Ovruch, 15 private houses were destroyed, five of them were demolished completely. There are no preliminary casualties or injuries, - the State Emergency Service reports.

Rashists (Russian fascists) carried out a rocket hit on Korosten, Zhytomyr region. The shells exploded in the private sector of the city. One person was killed and two were injured. Five children were rescued from the basement. Ten private residential buildings were demolished, one of them was burnt, State Emergency Service has informed.

WARNING! The Russian invader has launched a large number of bots on social media in an attempt to spread panic and discord among the people of Ukraine, the UAF General Staff has informed.

Many messages like "All is lost!", "Help Kyiv" (Kherson, Chernihiv, etc., depending on the operational situation); "We have all been abandoned!" and similar messages are spreading. They are sent from newly created "patriotic" accounts with Ukrainian symbols in Ukrainian and Russian languages.

British workers refuse to unload Russian oil from the ship Seacod sailing under German flag. The Unite Secretary, Sharon Graham said: "Unite workers at the site will not, under any circumstances, unload Russian oil, regardless of the flag of the vessel that delivers it."

March 6th: A pumping station serving Severodonetsk is de-energised as a result of a damaged power line, the Military Civil Administration said. Most of the town has no water supply.

"Restoration work will be carried out on the high-voltage network of the Luhansk Power Association. Water supply will be resumed shortly," the administration said.

The US State Department urged Americans to leave Russia immediately:

"Do not travel to Russia due to the unprovoked and unjustified attack by Russian military forces in Ukraine, the potential for harassment against U.S. citizens by Russian government security officials, the Embassy’s limited ability to assist U.S. citizens in Russia, COVID-19 and related entry restrictions, terrorism, limited flights into and out of Russia, and the arbitrary enforcement of local law.  U.S. citizens should depart Russia immediately."
