Russia launched at least 10 strikes on Zaporizhia – there are injuries
Russians strike at least 10 times in Zaporizhzhia – there are injuries, said the head of the regional administration, Ivan Fedorov.
"The Russians launched at least 10 strikes on Zaporizhia. Several fires broke out. According to preliminary information, there are casualties," he wrote.
The official noted that all details of the Russian attack are being established.
Later, Fedorov reported that information had been received about one wounded person – a medical team had left for the scene.
An air alert in the Zaporizhia region was declared at 9:37 p.m. – a threat from attack drones was reported.
At 10:46 p.m. the alarm was raised.
UPDATED at 10:52 p.m. A 61-year-old man died in the attack, people are trapped under the rubble, and there are injured, Fedorov reported.

UPDATE at 11:26 p.m. The number of victims has increased to eight.
"One man is under the rubble. Rescuers are doing everything possible to unblock him as soon as possible," said Fedorov.
UPDATE at 12:05 a.m. on May 2. "Rescuers pulled a man out of the rubble. Currently, doctors are providing him with all the necessary assistance," the head of the administration wrote.
UPDATE at 01:00 a.m. The information about the death of a 61-year-old man has not been confirmed – rescuers have unblocked victim from the rubble, and medics are taking him to the hospital.
As of this hour, 14 people have been injured in the Russian attack – 10 men and four women.
Nine of the injured are in hospitals, five were treated on the spot, Fedorov said.
- On the night of May 1, the Russians once again attacked Odessa with drone strikes, resulting in deaths and injuries. The invaders directed more than two dozen drones at the city.
- In total, the occupiers launched five ballistic missiles and 170 drones of various types into Ukraine, with consequences on the ground in five regions.
