Washington will supply Ukraine with weapons to confront Russia. This was announced by US President Donald Trump at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"Putin is treating people badly. So we will send Ukraine some defensive weapons. I approved it," he said .

Trump reiterated that he is unhappy with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, who is killing many soldiers, both his own and Ukrainian. According to him, weekly casualties in the war allegedly reach 7000 people.

The US President also noted that this war could have lasted "three or four days," but the US provided Ukraine with "the best weapons ever created.".

When asked by journalists about possible further actions against Russia, Trump refused to go into details.

"No, I'm not going to tell you. don't we want to make a little surprise?" he said.

Also during the Cabinet meeting, the White House chief of staff said that "Putin said a lot of bullshit", but his behavior was meaningless. Trump is now "very seriously" considering a future bill on sanctions against Russia.
