Due to the difficult security situation, a decision was made to forcibly evacuate more than 3,000 children and their parents from 44 frontline settlements in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro regions. About this reported vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.

"In Zaporizhzhia region, 651 children from four settlements of two communities are to be evacuated. In Dnipropetrovska oblast, 2463 children from 40 settlements of five communities are being evacuated," he said.

Kuleba said that since June 1, 150,000 people have been evacuated from the frontline areas to safer areas. Among them are almost 18,000 children and more than 5,000 people with limited mobility.

According to him, 17 transit centers are working to coordinate the processes. There, people receive comprehensive support and help to restore documents, apply for benefits, social services and financial support.

More than 80,000 places have been prepared for temporary residence of internally displaced persons. There is a round-the-clock hotline 15-48, where you can find all the necessary information on evacuation, temporary residence, status and assistance for internally displaced persons.
