Trump says he may "consider" deporting Musk from the US
The US president said he could also direct the DOGE agency, which he previously ran, against Musk

U.S. President Donald Trump said he may consider deporting the American billionaire owner of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk. He said this on July 1, speaking to the press before leaving the White House, , according to The Independent.
Trump was asked if Musk, who was born in South Africa, could be deported in light of recent conflicts and criticism of the presidential administration.
"I don't know. We'll have to see," the US president replied.
Trump has not ruled out the possibility of turning against his "former friend" the DOGE agency (Department of Government Effectiveness), which he used to run.
"We may have to set DOGE on Elon. Do you know what DOGE is? DOGE is a monster that may have to come back and eat Elon," he said .
- Earlier, Musk called the spending and tax bill 2massive, shameful, filled with lobbying expenses" and generally "repulsive abomination." He also said that without his support, Trump would have lost the election.
- Musk also accused Trump of involvement in the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of sex trafficking and having relations with minors.
- In response, Trump called Musk "crazy" and promised to cut off government subsidies and contracts to his companies, in particular SpaceX.
- After another criticism, Trump said on social media that without subsidies, which Musk has more than anyone else, he would have to "close the business and go home to South Africa".
