"These unequivocal declarations have appeared for the first time. We will see how consistent our partners on the other side of the Atlantic will be, but it gives us hope that these conversations will be successful. I consider success to be the end of the war," Tusk said.

According to him, Ukraine must have a compromise approach to the territorial issues, and currently the President Volodymyr Zelenskyy allegedly demonstrates "very good will" in this matter. He understands that "a referendum is needed."

  • on December 29, the President said that he had proposed to Trump that Ukraine guarantees for 30-50 years trump said he would think about it.
  • Zelensky later said that Trump confirmed strong security guarantees for Ukraine. Congress will vote on them.
  • According to the president, after the talks in the United States remain unresolved two points out of 20: the operation of the ZNPP and control over the territories.
