Ukrainian strike completely destroys at least three buildings at Russian arsenal in Kostroma region – photos

A Ukrainian strike on a missile and artillery arsenal in the Kostroma region on the night of January 6 completely destroyed at least several buildings. This was reported by the Russian service of the American Radio Liberty by publishing relevant satellite images.
The media, evaluating the new high-quality footage, claims the complete destruction of at least three buildings on the territory of the arsenal №100 of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) of the Russian Armed Forces in the Neysky district of Kostroma region.

The strike on this arsenal confirmed General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The LIGA.net's interlocutor in the Security Service of Ukraine reported that the strike was carried out by defenders from his department using long-range drones.
"Powerful explosions were heard all night long at this warehouse as a result of the detonation of ammunition. The local authorities began evacuating the population from the nearby settlements," the source said.
He also emphasized the importance of this facility for the invaders: Russia supplied ammunition from it to lower-level depots in the western and central directions.
Also, video and photos with the fire and smoke at the arsenal were shared on social media.
The Russians previously announced an attack on the same facility in May 2025.
The distance from the arsenal to the border between Russia and Ukraine is about 900 kilometers in a straight line:
- On the night of January 26, units of the Defense Forces hit the infrastructure Slavyansk Eco oil refinery in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.
