US starts talks on Greenland and all details are almost agreed upon – Trump

President of the United States Donald Trump said that negotiations on Greenland have allegedly already begun and are "close to an agreement." He said this said speaking to journalists on board Air Force One on the way to Palm Beach on January 31.
"We have started negotiations, and I think everything is pretty well agreed upon. I mean, they want us to do it. I think it will be a good deal for everybody," Trump said.
He reiterated that this is a "very important agreement" from the point of view of national security and expressed hope that it will be concluded.
At the same time, Trump did not name specific deadlines or other details on this issue. He also did not say whether he had discussed the deal with European leaders and representatives of Denmark.
