VOA: Russians intensify pressure in north of Myrnohrad, skirmishes in the center

Russians have stepped up their efforts in the north of Myrnohrad, Donetsk region, while skirmishes continue in the city center. About the reported seventh Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Commenting on the situation in the Pokrovsk agglomeration as of January 27, the military reported that the occupiers were increasing pressure on the northern part of Myrnohrad. Skirmishes with the enemy continue in the city center.

According to the paratroopers, Russians continue to amass heavy equipment in the area of Novohrodivka to further assault "upper" Myrnohrad.

In cooperation with the First Corps of the Azov National Guard, paratroopers are blocking the occupiers along the line "eastern outskirts of Myrnohrad – Krasnyi Lyman – Rodynske."

At the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force reported an increase in the use of various types of UAVs by the Russians. The enemy is more actively launching Molniya drones as queen drones that carry two FPVs and deliver a triple strike on the target. There are cases of fiber-optic drones reaching more than 20 km into the depths of Ukrainian defense.

The number of enemy strikes by tactical aircraft is also increasing. Over the past week, Russia dropped almost 360 bombs on the Pokrovsk agglomeration, which is 20% more than the previous week.
