President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has awarded Polish President Andrzej Duda with the Order of Freedom. The corresponding decree was published on the website of the President's Office.

It is noted that the Polish president received the award for outstanding personal merits in strengthening Ukrainian-Polish international cooperation, as well as for supporting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

This is the highest order of Ukraine that can be awarded to foreigners and stateless persons.

  • On June 28, the Polish president arrived in Kyiv, where he was met by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga. He will meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and take part in the celebration of the Constitution Day of Ukraine.
