Curfew reduced in Kharkiv and the region

The curfew in Kharkiv and the region will be reduced starting August 16. It will start from 00:00 to 05:00, reported in the Kharkiv Military Administration.

The decision to change the duration of the curfew in the region was made during a meeting of the Kharkiv Regional Defense Council.

"The changes will come into force on the night of August 16-17. At the same time, the decision does not apply to the communities of the region where a local enhanced curfew has been introduced due to the security situation," the JMA clarified.

"Implementation of this solution in Kharkiv region will allow entrepreneurs to increase their working hours, which will have a positive impact on the economic climate of the region," he said.

Previously, the curfew in Kharkiv and the region lasted from 23:00 to 05:00.

Syniehubov also said that a decision had been made to evacuate families with children from the village of Odnorobivka in the Zolochiv community of Bohodukhiv district.

According to him, two families and a total of five children aged 5 to 12 remain there.
