The President's Office refused to answer LIGA.net on what legal basis sanctions are being imposed against Ukrainian citizens. At the same time, the law firm Juscutum explained: formally, such restrictions are possible, but they are vulnerable if they are challenged legally.
LIGA.net asked the Office of the President on what legal basis sanctions are imposed against Ukrainian citizens, and whether the relevant Law allows this.
However, the specialized Department replied that they were not authorized to explain the legislation.
Still, the institution added that according to the Constitution, everyone has the right to professional legal assistance.
