Ukrainian Armed Forces hit an oil refinery in Dagestan and a BC plant in Mordovia

On the night of October 22, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two factories in Russia – an oil refinery and an ammunition plant. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Explosions were reported on the territory of the Saransk Mechanical Plant in the Republic of Mordovia. The enterprise produces anti-personnel engineering ammunition and mine kits, ammunition detonators and initiating units.
And on the territory of the Makhachkala Oil Refinery in the Republic of Dagestan, a hit was recorded on one of the refining units. The main purpose of the enterprise is to provide fuel and its storage in the interests of the Caspian Fleet naval base and refueling of military vessels.
The annual processing volume is up to 1 million tons. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
"The Defense Forces continue to take all measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian aggressor and force Russia to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff said .
The distance from Dagestan to the Ukrainian border is about 500 km, and from Mordovia – more than 600 km.
