The information about the alleged occupation of Ternuvate in Zaporizhzhia region is not true, but a few days ago a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group visited the village. This was stated in a commentary by LIGA.net Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, said.

According to him, Ternuvate is at least 15 kilometers from the front line. The Russians used infiltration tactics in the settlement.

Thus, a few days ago, an enemy subversive group, taking advantage of the weather conditions, secretly entered Ternuvate. We are talking about a group of up to 10 occupants, more precisely, about the size of a motorized rifle unit.

"The occupiers even filmed several points where they unfurled flags from drones, but within an hour the Defense Forces conducted reconnaissance and search operations in the village and cleared it," Voloshyn noted.

One part of the enemy group was eliminated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the other was captured with the help of a ground robotic system.

Earlier on January 30, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the alleged capture of Ternuvate.
