Trump asked if he would impose new sanctions against Russia after Sumy: he recalled old restrictions
US President mentions sanctions against Nord Stream 2 during his first term in office

PresidentDonald Trumpreplied that he has already imposed sanctions on Russia when asked if he was considering additional restrictions against Moscow afterits strike on Sumy. The politician said thisduring a press conferenceat the White House.
"Well, I already have sanctions against Russia, I've imposed them. If you remember Nord Stream 2, a big gas pipeline that goes through Europe, I stopped it. It's a Russian pipeline, the largest pipeline, I think, in the world, going to Germany, and I stopped it (during my first term – Ed.)," Trump said.
He did not announce any new sanctions.
