Trump: If Alaska meeting goes well, second one will be between Putin and Zelenskiy

President of the United States Donald Trump said that in case of a successful meeting with the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska, the next one will be with the participation of the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy. About this he said said during a visit to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

"The first meeting will be between me and Putin. If the first meeting goes well, the second meeting will be between Putin and Zelensky. I will be there if they want me to be there. The meeting will be quick, I would like that," the US president said.

Trump also said that he expects a "good" meeting with Putin on August 15, and called the chances of a second meeting between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Putin "high," but it may not happen.

"If I don't get the answers I need at the first meeting, there will be no second meeting," he said.

During this press conference, Trump also said that Putin and his country face the consequencesif he does not agree to stop the war during the meeting in Alaska.
