"We are not just standing our ground. We are already turning to counterattacks. Having suffered crushing losses, the Russian occupiers have launched a terrorist war.

As of 10 March, Russian interventionists have killed more Ukrainian civilians than our military personnel from all branches of the defence sector have been killed in action. We have lists of those involved in the intervention and their accomplices and they will be provided to all relevant institutions.

We are working around the clock to strengthen our army. I will not comment on the supply of weapons. I can say that tens of thousands of helmets and bulletproof vests, medical supplies and other important items are moving into Ukraine.

More than 200,000 of our citizens have returned from Europe to defend their country. In addition there are foreign volunteers ready to fight Russian Nazism. To the conscript Ukrainians: Stay in touch, don't get lost. The country needs you! If you have moved with your families to other regions, inform your local recruitment and social support centre.

No one will take unprepared people into the army and send them to the front. We will not defeat Russia by quantity. We will overcome it by quality.

The war has a significant impact on the state of the country. This year we will produce much less and harvest less. Because not only do we need to liberate our fields from the enemy, we need to clear them. This is time.

Get your wages, pay your utilities, and if possible, try not to fall out of the economic processes.

Don't try to sit on your savings. Get to work. Learn to live in a new environment, not to survive".

Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention has expressed gratitude to Russia’s MoD Shoigu for “the outstanding contribution to embezzling of Russian materiel and resources allocated for the invasion of Ukraine on the stage as early as on the stage of their accumulation at the Ukrainian border.”

Zelenskyy on Putin's nuclear threats: "I think it's a bluff. It's one thing to be a killer. But it's another thing to commit suicide".

If the sanctions applied had been sufficient, the invasion would have stopped by now - Zelenskyy.

"It's not us who should be afraid now, but the politicians of the world. [...] What Russia is doing against Ukraine, other states will definitely would like to repeat it against their neighbours," Zelenskyy said in an interview with DIE ZEIT.

President Zelenskyy says his family remains in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs how the world has been supporting Ukraine on 10 March:

- The Lithuanian parliament has unanimously supported the resolution urging the EU to promptly grant Ukraine the candidate status and start talks regarding its membership.

- The Republic of Slovenia’s parliament has adopted a declaration on the situation in Ukraine, condemning the Russian Federation’s aggression against Ukraine and supporting European prospects of our country.

- IMF has sent to Ukraine $1.4 billion in emergency support to finance first-priority state budget expenses and support Ukraine’s external accounts.

- The UK has imposed more sanctions against the Russian Federation: multiple Russian oligarchs are on the sanction list, including Roman Abramovich, a billionaire and owner of FC Chelsea, and businessman Oleg Deripaska.

- Goldman Sachs Group Inc., one of the largest investment companies globally, has announced its plans to pull out of Russia. - International money transfer system Western Union suspends its operation in Russia and Belarus.

- Sony Music, the second-largest global recording company, has halted its operation in Russia.

- Estonia has announced it temporarily stops issuing tourist visas to Russian citizens.

- Cosmopolitan, Elle Russia, Harper’s Bazaar, and Esquire magazines will cease to be published in Russia.

- The Pandora jewellery company halted its business in Russia and Belarus.

- American footwear producers Skechers and Crocs has joined the boycott of Russia, suspending operations in Russia.

Update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6 PM on 10 March:

The situation on the ground as of 6 PM on 10.03.2022 regarding Russian invasion: Ukraine's defence forces fittingly rebuff the enemy, holding the offensive operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from all directions.

Today, Ukrainian defenders have pushed the enemy to disadvantageous positions in the Polissia and Volyn directions. In the Novhorod-Siverskyi direction, they liberated the village of Baklanova Muraviika. The defenders of Kyiv hold fast in their positions and protect the city's critical infrastructure.

Russian invaders were stopped in all directions. The enemy suffered heavy personnel, weaponry, and equipment losses. The occupiers have been focusing on spreading disinformation and propaganda on all available information channels.

The enemy cyber warfare units and federal media are spreading disinformation as to the actions of political and military leadership. They manufacture and disseminate fake news about the government accepting Russia's terms, calls to put down arms, and Ukrainian military capitulating.

Therefore, keep calm and trust only verified sources. Although Russian troops on the Ukrainian territory are isolated from the objective information, they do hear about the disgraceful situation in which Russia has ended up.

Rumours about the Russian MoD's inability to pay allowance due to sanctions spread among Russians, demoralizing the invaders' personnel.

Near Shestovytsia, Chernihiv Region, the occupiers are seeking ways of surrendering to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Leonid Kuchma, the second president of Ukraine, addressed the Ukrainians: "I'm staying in Ukraine because it's our motherland, the only one we have. Together, we will keep defending it until we win. There's no room for political disputes, old quarrels, or personal interests now. We need to unite around our Flag, our Army, and our President. Ukraine isn't Russia. It will never fall into Russia's hands. They can only wish it."

kraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation launched a new chatbot called eVorog ("vorog" – Ukrainian for "enemy"). This bot helps civilians inform the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the movement of enemy troops.

Here's how to use it:

Authorize in the "Diia" app and verify your identity. It will help collect quality data and prevent the enemy from sharing fake information. 

Indicate what exactly you saw, i.e. enemy equipment, personnel, etc.

Attach your photos or videos.

Chose the region and add the enemy location.

Provide supplementary information.

I have to address the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DEAR COMRADES! Your fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers did not fight the Nazis, defended our mutual Motherland, so that today's neo-Nazis could seize power in Ukraine. You took an oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people, and not to the anti-people junta that plunders Ukraine and mocks these same people. Don't follow its criminal orders. I urge you to lay down your arms immediately and go home. Let me explain: all servicemen of the Ukrainian army who will fulfill this requirement, will be able to freely leave the combat zone and return to their families.

Once again, I strongly emphasize that all responsibility for possible bloodshed will be entirely on the conscience of the regime ruling on the territory of Ukraine.”

"All the might of the Russian army will now act against them"

Two Russian rockets have hit the Lozuvatka airport next to Kryvyi Rih, according to Olexandr Vilkul, head of the city military administration. "The craters are up to 5 meters deep. No casualties."

The 128th separate mountain assault Transcarpathian brigade defeated a reconnaissance unit of the Russian army. The warriors seized personal belongings and the remains of the Russian ammunition, namely written records with the names of the soldiers and serial numbers of the weapons issued to them.

Most of the soldiers on the list have Chechen surnames: Kurbanov, Malachurbanov, Sharabudanov, Tuglanov, Alsurpanov, Bekuzarov, Magomedov.

Estonia stops issuing tourist visas to Russian citizens, Minister of Foreign Affairs Eva-Maria Liimets said.

Visas will be provided only to those visiting family in Estonia as well as for medical and humanitarian reasons.

“We are talking primarily about the bans on new visas for the period until the Russian military activities in Ukraine cease,” Liimets explained.

The Head of the Mykolayiv regional state administration, Vitaliy Kim, has said that some Russian soldiers stationed on the border between Kherson and Mykolayiv regions do not want to go in the attack, believing that they have been lured into Ukraine by deception. Kim therefore plans to appeal "to the top" to arrange a "green corridor" for those Russians who have not yet fired on Ukrainians.

The Lithuanian Seimas (Parliament) unanimously supported a resolution calling on the EU to urgently grant Ukraine candidate status and open membership negotiations.

Buses with people that are being evacuated have left Izium. In total, there are 44 evacuation buses with near 2,000 people.

President Zelenskyy signed a law on the mandatory seizure of property of Russia and its residents on the territory of Ukraine.
Nationalization will take place without any compensation, "given the full-scale aggressive war that the Russian Federation has unleashed and is waging against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people."

Russian media began spreading information about an alleged death of the ex-Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov in Kharkiv. Avakov himself recorded a video, denying the information and saying he is currently in Kyiv.
