The UK Ministry of Defence has said that Russia continues to attack evacuation corridors in Ukraine, CNN reports.
The ministry accused Russian military forces of shelling green corridors and killing several civilians trying to evacuate from the town of Irpin. The ministry said that due to fierce fighting, Irpin had been without heat, water and electricity supply for several days.

During martial law, conscripts will be paid an additional 30,000 hryvnyas monthly, the Defence Ministry said.

Families of soldiers, who died in this war are paid a lump-sum cash benefit of UAH 15 million, which is distributed in equal shares to all recipients.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby has said that the US Defence Department believes that reports that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is trying to recruit fighters in Syria to take part in the war against Ukraine are true. This was reported by CNN.
"...We find it remarkable that with more than 150,000 troops involved, the military advance inside Ukraine, particularly in the north, has stalled and Putin has found it necessary to try to recruit foreign fighters for this his war," Kirby said.

The occupiers plan to involve the most combat-ready units from the Ramzan Kadyrov Special Purpose Regiment of the Rosgvardiya (Grozny), Special Purpose Force 27 Kuzbass (Kemerovo), Special Purpose Force 604 Vityaz (Moscow) of the Rosgvardiya and PMC Liga (former PMC Wagner) in the assault. Throughout the war which Russia started against Ukraine, the AFU Air Forces have shot down dozens of the occupier's cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, 52 combat aircraft, 69 helicopters and other small-sized targets. This was reported by the AFU Air Forces’ press service.

Major General of the Russian army Vitaly Gerasimov has been terminated near Kharkiv, Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reports.
Gerasimov was the Chief of Staff and First Deputy Commander of the 41st Army of the Central Military District of Russia.
He participated in the Second Chechen War and the Russian military operation in Syria. Also, he was awarded the medal “For the Return of Crimea”.

Around 8:20 p.m., the Russian occupants carried out two airstrikes - hitting oil depots in Zhytomyr and the village of Cherniyakhiv, the State Emergency Service reported.
In Zhytomyr, a 10m cu.m. tank caught fire. Two half-empty tanks caught fire in Chernyakhiv. Residents of nearby private houses were evacuated. There were no casualties or injuries.

More than 2,000 foreign students have been held hostage by Russian troops due to blocked evacuation from Sumy city, ombudsman Lyudmyla Denysova has stated.
They come from: India - 659, China - 160, Turkey - 144, Nigeria - 400 students. Among the students are citizens of the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa and Southeast Asia, including South Africa, Kazakhstan, Singapore and Saudi Arabia.
There are 2,046 foreign students come from 27 countries in total.

At 05:15 am, Russian occupiers shelled Mykolayiv. A Kalibr cruise missile hit the 79th Brigade. The shelling resulted in eight casualties, eight disappeared and 19 wounded. Information on civilian casualties is being gathered.

The first volunteers of the Territorial Defence Force's International Legion have assumed their positions in the outskirts of Kyiv.
These people came from the USA, the UK, Sweden, Lithuania, Mexico, and India.
Ukrainian female soldiers addressed the Russian invaders on the eve of March 8th:
- We have already evacuated our children and are joining our men on the frontline.
- Along with them, we will be destroying the enemy on every inch of Ukrainian land.
- We will avenge everyone killed and every destruction made.

Orthodox Church of Ukraine’s priest Rostyslav Dudarenko was killed by Russian invaders at a checkpoint in Yasnohorodka, Fastivsky district, Kyiv region.
Territorial defenders asked Yuri Boyko, a deputy of OPFL to say "Putin is a dickhead" and "Russian warship - go fuck yourself".
Boyko replied: "Putin is a dickhead I won't say - I don't scold. But I will say that the Russian army has committed aggression against Ukraine"

The Russian army has direct orders to shoot Ukrainian civilians as well as Russian troops refusing to do it. An invader injured by his own told it on camera to the Security Service of Ukraine. The Russian told that his comrade-in-arms and he tried to save two women. For that, other Russian service members opened fire on them, killing one woman and the other Russian soldier. The service member got leg injuries.

The woman and the officer were killed, and the soldier in the video got leg injuries. He survived because the daughter of the killed woman rescued him.
